1. The Aβ40, Aβ42, and Tau three-in-one reagent kit for SIMOA, due to global trends and reagent manufacturing considerations, will be discontinued by the manufacturer as of February 2025. The manufacturer has notified the agent to cease production of this three-in-one testing kit. Therefore, this laboratory will stop offering total-Tau testing services starting from the announcement date and will replace it with the Aβ40 and Aβ42 two-in-one reagent kit from the manufacturer.
2. The affected testing codes are AD-02, C-10, C-11, and C-12. Total-Tau testing will no longer be available, but all other testing items will continue as usual. Due to a universal price increase on manufacturer reagents, the testing fees for each item will remain unchanged.
